Last updated: May 23, 2026

Tele Technology LLC builds and operates software used by healthcare organizations. This notice describes our general approach to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA") and its implementing regulations.

1. Our role

Tele Technology LLC is not a Covered Entity. When we process Protected Health Information ("PHI") on behalf of a Covered Entity or another Business Associate, we act as a Business Associate as defined under 45 CFR § 160.103.

2. Business Associate Agreements

Before processing PHI for any client, Tele Technology LLC enters into a written Business Associate Agreement (BAA) that defines the permitted uses and disclosures of PHI and our obligations under the HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules.

3. Safeguards

We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic PHI, including access controls, audit logging, encryption in transit and at rest, workforce training, and incident response procedures.

4. No PHI through this website

This marketing website is not designed to receive PHI. Please do not submit PHI through contact forms, email, or other channels associated with this site. PHI is only handled through authenticated, contractually authorized systems governed by a BAA.

5. Breach notification

In the event of a breach of unsecured PHI, Tele Technology LLC will notify the affected Covered Entity in accordance with the applicable BAA and 45 CFR § 164.410.
